Week 01 (New Year's Day - January 07):
During this 7 day period, endeavor to keep the balance and rhythm of your life calling and subsequent responsibilities. Truly educators are called to minister to the overall needs of students; however, as a human being you MUST keep the priorities of your overall existence within a proper scope. As you begin a new calender year, and work toward the completion of the first half of the current school-year, consider how you are focusing on the following: your spiritual, mental and physical health; your own beautiful and precious family (spouse, children...); your finances and overall stewardship of earthly/worldly wealth; and your relationships in the overall context of your professional and personal life. Remember, the education profession in the 21st century has become an incredibly powerful machine that can sap all of your strength and leave you feeling discouraged. Thus, this week especially, focus on your priorities and endeavor to harness the necessary resources in order to find joy in your awesome privilege of influencing our youth, doing so with a truly wise perspective on your life, your destiny and your daily need to overcome adversity in a way that is beneficial to you and to those who are in your life. Learn more about the following double equation which is beneficial for all people, if we take heed to the truth contained therein: education = life = time.
