Mr. and Mrs. Egan started this as a business after Mr. Egan completed two years of teaching middle school in North Carolina. They have helped several students over the years with math and other academic subjects and needs. It has become more of a hobby at this point; however, they still want to harness resources to help parents and teachers to support the development of their children.
Consequently, Mr. Egan is working on a master's degree in educational technology, from Central Michigan University's Global Campus, and this website has become a hub for sharing various resources in connection with this particular graduate school work. The short-term goal for this website is to create opportunities to tutor students, both in real time and in a typical distance learning format for on demand experiences which are self-paced. The long-term goal is to create various learning resources which can be marketed in both the educational and business worlds. The ultimate purpose will be to join academic learning together with a solid character development opportunity for every student. Thus, we view good character as the foundation upon which academic learning can be fruitful in society; and we want to bring joy in the pursuit of purpose for every human being. Academics without purpose is empty. Purpose without academics is poor stewardship.
Coming during the 2018-2019 school year, many new and specialized departments with resources related to many topics including: Music, Religion, Business, Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Government, Health, Economics, Home Economics and much more.
